Making Herbal Tea a Ritual Practice
Simple steps to connect with your herbs, your breath, and the spirit of the plants.

  • Begin by choosing your herbs and boiling water. As your tea steeps, breathe deeply and inhale its scent.

Find a quiet spot. Light a candle if you’d like. If it’s warm enough, step outside barefoot — let the earth hold and ground you.

Before sipping, greet the spirit of the tea & introduce yourself. Ask what it wants to share.

Hold your vessel with both hands. Let the warmth settle you. Sip slowly. This is your ritual — simple, sacred, and yours.

  • Place a small handful of herbs (about 3–5 tablespoons) into a quart-size jar. Pour boiling water over them, seal the jar, and let it steep overnight on your counter. Strain in the morning and drink at room temp or chilled. Take it with you — herbal nourishment, on the go.

  • Hand wash your vessel with warm water and mild soap. These pieces are dishwasher safe, but handwashing preserves their beauty longer. Avoid microwaving if the glaze has metallic elements. Over time, your bowl may develop subtle changes — part of the story it's meant to hold.
